Leftover epoxy resin got you down?
After a project is complete, What do you do with the leftovers?
Try this simple trick to help add more bling to your next project!
This is just one clever way that you can use excess epoxy resin!😀
Create resin sheets from leftover epoxy resin.
Step 1:
Pour your excess (mixed) epoxy resin onto a plastic sheet and add some glitter, color or something to give it a little pop!
Step 2:
Once you finish adding your special touch to the layer of epoxy resin, lay another sheet of plastic onto the uncured epoxy resin side.
Step 3:
Press it together, and work the epoxy resin flat with your fingers or a spoon. Try to remove any gaps or unwanted bubbles. Spread it out as thin as you like.
Step 4:
Wait for the sheets to cure overnight. Then Demold! By simply peeling off the plastic sheet.
Step 5:
Go nuts!
Now you can cut them up into smaller pieces, chunks etc. to make your own custom designs. Using them within small castings such as necklace pendants is always a great way to add dimension to your designs.
