Used it on a high voltage transformer. Works fine.

Very rigid. So remember that.

But it works fine as a rigid potting resin. Looks very professional even without vacuum or ….

I just wanted a simple pot so I didn’t use a vacuum chamber nor even a hot air gun to break the bubbles. But it turned out very shiny and smooth with no bubbles.

Capacitor Potting.

I rebuild antique British motorcycle magnetos - the ignition systems for these machines. I use Epoxyseal 9000 to pot the capacitors contained in the armature internally and it protects against heat, vibration and chemicals. In addition, it is dimensionally stable and stays where you put it. It is already tinted black, taking one step away from what I used to use. 100% recommended and suitable for professional use.
